N closed this girl the other night. After a couple days, sent a text with some callback humor - she replied positively. Next day I called to invite her to my brother's music gig on Wednesday night. She was down to go, but had a dinner engagement and wasn't sure when it would end. (but since the gig was at 11pm, she was pretty sure she could make it) We agreed to touch base after her dinner.

Wednesday night comes and goes without hearing from her. Here is the text conversation that followed the next day:

Me: Missed a good show last night.
Her: You never texted me the details... Guess you're the one who missed out.
Me: Hey, Betty Blamer, you didn't call after your dinner. Plus, I got to see the show...
(no response. I write back 7 hours later)
Me: Tell you what, we can make up for it on sunday or monday. But that means we have to have twice as much fun. Sure you're down for that?

Still haven't heard back. What do you guys think about how I handled it, and when can I call again to try to make new plans?

MOVE ON. Next time, you have to remember to tell girl about the place that you are planning going to and give her detail about the place.(don't invite her as begin of detail) after your done with detail and invite her ( you know what, you should come to join us). hope it will help.

Never count on a woman to call, they never will.

In her eyes, she was expecting a call, you didn't call, and then you blasted her with insulting text messages. It might not be the truth but women see things different.

You're right. Looking back on it, that's exactly what happened. My concern was coming off too apologetic and submissive. Still wanted to be in control without being accusatory.
