Why Do We Want To Be Famous?
I've been thinking on why I always fantasize about power and being famous. I can't see WHY I want it so bad and use so much of my time daydreaming about this. I'm sure I'm not alone on this one, and wonder if any of you guys has any experience of this?
We all know that true happiness doesn't come from that, or is it just a lie so we "average people" can feel good about ourselfs?
I apologize for I ask this "deep" question

I want to be famous, I want to be the best, I want to be respected, i want to be loved... BUT MOST OF ALL, i want to be REMEMBERED..

My whole financial motivation is to, by the time I die or close to, have set up charities, scholarships, have a biography written about me and to set up the new couple of generations up for life. The world is just so money focused at the moment and because of that fame can be had from being rich, which works out well since it happens to be my passion.
Winners attitude, I like it haha. When I was speaking to someone about it they just go 'isn't that just your ego talking?' |

I'm a young and budding musician.
These are things I have to think about all the time.
Why do I want to be famous? Do I even want to be? Am I prepared for that kind of lifestyle? Am I going to flip out and shoot my face off some day?
- Super high class living. I'm not materialistic enough to blow all my money away, and personally... going to Hollywood parties and dating 10s without gaming them hard sounds awesome.
- I'm indifferent about being famous. I expect to at least go on tour with a band ONCE, and that's good enough for me. And I still plan on writing albums for as long as I live anyway (once I get started writing them).
- Yes. I am prepared for a high class lifestyle. I can handle hollywood parties, having ridiculous amounts of money, and having enough HB10s chasing me to fill a Jay Z video. Oh... and chillin' with Jay Z? That sounds AWESOME.
- No. I highly doubt I'll ever kill myself. But... if I do, it'll be done in a way that I know for damn sure has never been done before. Originality in my death is KEY.
So I guess the main reason I want to be famous is so I can hang out with rappers.

Get in line and hope your lucky number comes up. It's great to dream but have atleast 2 backup plans that are very realistic.

I want to be famouse becuase I'm an attention whore  . Lol idk, I guess the need to be wanted and loved is what makes us want to be famouse? |
