Default Relevance of Nicknames and/or Usernames

How many of you guys use nicknames away from the internet? Are your nicknames the same as your username here on the board? Do you go by one nickname or many?

I chose this username in a rush and am not sure if I want to keep it. It isn't a bad name but I figure I could have come up with something better, especially if im going to be referred to it away from the board. I have many online aliases but of all of them, this is most likely the one that will probably affect me away from the computer. I just cant imagine befriending one of you guys, having you call me up to go out and saying "Hey is this Savage Dragon?"

I'm probably being silly, but I just don't want a weird name to lurk over me forever like a cloud. I mean, I can always tell someone in person whatever nickname I please, but now that im on here and have to be known as one name, I dont know what to use.

i was given my nickname by a fellow pickup artist who got married not too long ago (best wing i ever had).
we stopped in at vegas a while back. i unpacked all my clothes in the hotel and he looked at me and started laughing. he said my wardrobe is like a closet full of costumes. from wranglers/cowboy boots/big buckle/ropershirt to english laundry button-ups/bostonian leather shoes/slacks, to pinstripe suit, my usual skinhead wear(ben sherman/fred perry/ doc martens/suspenders) to nice fitting dark blue jeans/clean graphic tees/peacoat (don't ask why i took a peacoat to vegas ) to a few blazers. i sometimes mix n' match too. i speak 4 different languages (workin on russian as we speak) and even got my different accents down to a T . lol you never know where the night's gonna take you, i like to be able to blend in to whichever surrounding i find myself in. it's alot easier to open a group of international HB's when u speak the language . either way, he loved timo maas (i think thats how u spell it) and there's this song he did called "shapeshifter"... but he thought that was too long, so he narrowed it down to "Shift" and i've been going by that ever since.

My real name is a combination of both of my parents first names, and I was fond of it as I grew up, because of attachment to my dad, but since I've been going through my Inner Game Revolution I decided to change what I go buy.

I've always thought that one day I'd come from invisibility and make my mark on history before the day I die. So, as I grew up it became more important to me. The names I came up with went from being influenced by games and TV and people, to something I genuinely came up with.

Right now, I go by Ice Pill on the forums, but my real choice would be NPC (seems to be taken though ).

Suprisingly enough, it has some real meaning:

Non

Playable

Character

Only I can be me .

TrueStory was given to me by a lesbian girl that I turned bisexual.

I used to have a habit of saying, "true story" at the end of every statement, so my friends started calling me that.

I also uphold strong moral against lying. I always tell girls how I feel and sometimes it can be radical honesty.

And luckily "TrueStory" is such a common term, that if girl googles my "nickname" she's very unlikely to come here. In REAL world i am "True Story" which brings NOTHING in google, on here i am TrueStory wich brings Nothing in google as well
