Default British PPL(especially londoners)
im audtioning for a play and the character requires a london accent and i thought maybe the british ppl here can help out. how should i start and what are helpful ways to learn other than a speach coach? cheers

just watch some British television, and try to mimic accents.

Dude after about 3-4 hours of monty python you'll start speaking like a Britt effortlessly.

Just go to your local library and search for Monty Python in comedy.

Get Life of Brian, or Holly Grail, then there is "Flying Circus" series (retarded), and my favorite "Meaning of Life"

Pretty entertaining.

Accents are so easy to pull once you listen to them enough. I could be some 59 year old chinese woman on the phone, or a 79 year old grandpa.
