how big is ur apartment and how much rent do u pay, also do u live with a roommate?
im asking b/c i want to move from queens to manhatten

Hi I pay 750/month for a cool apt that i share with another guy in UWS ...but I'm really lucky!
check out Craigslist (http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/roo/) it's the best way to search!

If you really want to live in Manhattan and enjoy it, expect to pay no less than 1500 a month.

The hottest areas for women are probably the East Village, Chelsea, UWS (only near Columbia), UES, West Village.

Avoid everything else. The LES is a possibility... but i'd give it two thumbs down still.
