New York Hotels

So I am planning on going to New York City for a weekend with the girlfriend, but am having some small problems. I want to stay somewhere nice, but on the cheaper side (less than $275 a night).

I found some great deals, the Millennium Hotel being one of them, but that has led to my major problem. I'm 20 and she's 19, and most hotels I've found say you have to be 21 to check in.

Any suggestions around this?

Can you have one of your parents, or an older friend make the reservations? I work right down the block from the Millennium, and I can tell you that a number of people who stay there are minors visiting NY for the first time.
