A bit off-topic, but I think it would be a good idea to making people unable to post for a week or so after they have registered. Hopefully in that time, they will find the "Best of..." forum, and that will answer a lot of questions. I know it has helped me out a ton.
Anyhow, a newbie forum would be nice. It would probably help people acclimate to the forum, and find better responses for their questions. Also, newbies would be more likely to stick there, hopefully cutting down on un-informed posts in other places.

We tried the time limit also. People just wouldnt wait a week or even 3 days to post. It stops members from signing up. No good. It is looking like we will bring back the newbie forum but if it is a mess it is leaving again

Definately important.
I don't fit in the 18-21 group, and I don't fit into the 30+ group either.
I'm sure there will be some kids looking for the latest "magic bullet" but for the most part it'll be good to have a forum where common mistakes/sticking-points/mindsets can be helped out.

huh?? What about Discussion/FRs/Context/Advanced Techniques(with subforums for each phase of the M3/Emotional Progression Model)?
The Attraction Forums are the most detailed and organized PUBLIC big PUA forum board out there, so much that many other forums are copying our structure.

This is quite true...I dunno...
Sometimes I'm looking for someone to help me out (in which case all the Discussion/FR's/Context/Advanced Techniques ROCK) but sometimes I'm just looking to commune with heads that are on the same plane as me.
And these forums are definately the best organized and detailed of ANY forum I've been a part of.

You can post in the meetups and lairs section to find people in your area, PM the guys directly or get their AIM/MSN/IM. I know that a number of guys have found sarging buddies and wingmen through the forums and have become best friends even.
When people have the same goals and desire to achieve them, they already have a lot in common.

Problem is...the KJ's will still post in whatever advanced forum you have set up. most noobies tend to be in denial anyway...

I agree with this. Something else I noticed was that, for some reason, the younger people don't seem to understand the idea that posting in the 18-21 part of the forum doesn't mean you are required to post there just because you're in that age group. That particular topic is for questions that are SPECIFIC to that age group. The 30+ topic seems to have a much better grasp of this point. Probably 75% of the threads I see in the 18-21 topic could be posted in the usual parts of the forum.

The New Zealand meet-up thread seams to dissolve into idle chatter about stuff that interests us or simple just shooting shit...
Also is there someway to add validation points to each user? Maybe the mod's upon reading quality posts give people validation. This would encourage people to think things out and spam less. Also 'newbies' would have a better idea who to listen too.
