so the girl just told me about the guy who she last liked and about how he screwed her over..... she starts treating me like a big brother.... how do i get over that point and make her focus on me instead... what should i say

What exactly does she do to treat you like a big brother?

Its possible she could be gaming you.. or your an LJBF. Girls usually openly bitch about their ex-boyfriends to the girlfriends/orbiters. She is looking for some kind of qualification from you. example- she wants you to reply with "your such a great girl, why would he do that..." etc.. She is fishing for sympathy.. time for u to swoop.. She's displaying voulnerability to you.. which means your probably already in comfort. Most likely just her buddy. Turning those around ain't that hard.

Don't say anything negative about her ex. say sarchastic things like

"lucky u, ur single now, too bad your not my type!" but smile and jokingly..
