The fourth OAP that everybody should receive is Issue 4 regarding male-to-female interest, otherwise known as qualification.
A3 used to be a huge sticking point for me. For one, I didn't quite know how and when to transition into it. Additionally, I quite often got caught up in the rush of A2 with hardcore disqualification that I would forget to qualify the target. So this particular OAP is extremely important to me.
The Bait/Hook/Reel/Release model is outlined in significant detail here. Each step is crucial. If you don't Reel her in, how will she know you're interested in her for something other than her physical looks? And how will you even qualify her if you don't set up the Bait to Hook her with? Forget the Release and you come on too strong. A3 is the art of hitting on a woman, as Mystery says.
Yes, you're essentially hitting on her. But only after 5-8 minutes of high value demonstration. Apparently, Mystery Method Master Instuctor
Sinn has been known to spend 12 minutes or more in A3 to REALLY qualify a woman. Launch a qualifier at any time so that you KNOW when your A3 is starting to stick.
A3 is also for starting to get a girl to invest in you for qualities other than her physical looks which is important for reducing and/or eliminating flakes. She's a real person and she must know that you see her as someone you would genuinely like to integrate into your life, not just as a piece of arm candy or a trophy wife. The Comfort stages is where you can really find out about each other, but A3 is the start. The Advanced section of this OAP discusses this concept as well as nonverbals and subcommunication for A3.
