great opener bro, very creative. you know i was thinking about this the other day what if a girl calles me out also, here is how am going to respond. What show The Pick Up Artist ? whats that ?then if she tells me ever thing you just said was from that show, then i would tell her um......... ok i dont know what you are talking about. How did she "bust" you? What phase were you in when she "busted" you? What did you say?

IMHO it's just another shit-test. Try re-framing it as her being the player. She's trying to run game on you and you're not that kind of guy, etc. Practice this kind of re-framing until it becomes second nature and you can bust on her without thinking. I practice this kind of playful banter all the time so I can pull it off second nature and plus it's fun for everyone.

For example when I go to the store a lot of times the (female) cashier asks for your phone number to put in the register. I don't just give it to her! In stead I cock my head and give her a super-skeptical look for about 2 seconds. Then I say, "Are you trying to pick me up!? I don't just give out my number to every girl that asks you know!" I re-frame it as her trying to pick me up and bust her for it. I don't do it to pick up the cashier, I do it to practice re-framing, and besides it's something she hasn't heard before

She hit you with what I consider to be a Shit Test to shut down your game and you came back with a relatively weak response. You answered the question which in effect is you buying into her Frame. You do not want to buy into her Frame. If you do the Sarge is over (which is where it went.)

You/we learn from our mistakes more than our sucesses (I Hope). Your Opener sounded good On Paper. Try to have someone wing and tell you if it sounded Scripted. A wing of mine tried some material and was terrible because it sounded like a newscast or someone reading out loud - only worse. He thought that I was joking when I evaled his effort. I videotaped him and he was shocked at how bad and stiff his delivery was. If you are not congruent to the max and a HB watches VH1 it will appear suspicious...

I expect you to do much better if it happens again. I would be interested in the results.

So I open a one set at a cafe HB9. Here's what happened:

HER: that question sounds awfully familiar... uhh yes I do think thats cheating. I don't think being drunk is an excuse... because even if I'm wasted, I still know what im doing for the most part

I honestly cant believe girls are so anal about the show and remember every detail and everything they used in it.
