Interview Vol 1. Opening and Transition (Sinn and Savoy)
Volume number and title: Volume 1 - Savoy and Sinn on opening and transitioning
Date of release: March 2006
Pros: Holy moley. Where do I start? I'm a guy who doesn't have much approach anxiety and I found this disc fascinating and educating. For an hour and fifteen minutes, Savoy and Sinn REALLY break down A1 and transitioning into A2, from how to approach effectively, to calibrating the situation, to stacking openers, to handling interrupts. A lot of stuff they talk about isn't even in the Venusian Arts Handbook, because new ideas are presented and broken down. There are some really advanced topics here. They go into various types of openers, the importance of delivery, body language, daygame versus nightgame, interesting subject matter, and a LOT more. They also discuss the importance of the newbie mission. The sound quality is fantastic and the packaging is discreet. You can also tell that Savoy and Sinn are having fun talking about this stuff too. They DON'T talk about approach anxiety... that is already covered in the Venusian Arts Handbook and the DVD Archives. It'd be redundant here.
Cons: Honestly, none. There isn't a single Mystery Method product that hasn't blown me away yet. These guys do NOT slack when producing their materials. It's evident that they pour their soul into their work.
Rating out of 10: 10/10 for presentation and organization, 10/10 for content (there's a LOT!!), 10/10 for production quality. You can tell that this Interview Series is going to go a LOOOOOOONG way especially if they all stack up like this first disc.

Review: Mystery Method Master Series-CD Interview
Review: Mystery Method Master Series-CD Interview
Volume 1 Opening and Transitioning w/ Master Instructors Savoy and Sinn
This is essentially the "nuts and bolts" of opening, defined. There are so many fine details explained, in an easy to understand way that, after listening to this CD, there will be absolutely no way to fail at opening ANY girl or grooup and transitioning into "attract game" If you open correctly, you will attract her and, SHE will seduce YOU.
Savoy and Sinn clearly know the game and revel in dissecting it to save you any trouble. In the span of approx. 75 minutes, a wide range of topics are covered-I suggest having a notebook handy when you listen. Here is a partial list (You possibly may see one of your sticking points here) - Tonality and Loudness-Effectively communicating dominance and confidence
- The 90-10 Rule-Run the game or lose at it!
- When and when not to "Neg"
- Effectively plowing without appearing "TRYHARD"
- Calibration according to ratings & social position
- How long to pump buying temperature in obstacles, without going to far before transitioning to target
- How soon to start testing for compliance ( and why we do it)
- Handling interrupts and potential CB's
By the end of the first installment, you will learn that it's more about the delicate sub-text, than the text itself, (i.e.-canned material, routines and stories) and what it is to project that somewhat intangible quality of success with life and love, which attracts the ladies. The more prepared you are, it can be as Savoy puts it at one point, "A Virtuous Circle." I believe that, if you're not prepared, you will find it a vicious circle. Now, as you get better at playing the game, the more fun it will be. That is an easy choice that you can make.

Great and Worth It
First of all, I am the type of person who like to get information from a lot of sources, and I have heard many audio programs. From monthly audio's to podcasts, I have listened to a lot of different programs.
This, by far, was the most detailed and complete audio program I have heard to date.
I just listened to this CD and I was blown away by the amount of information on this first volume. It was a complete and detailed analysis / overview of the Opening and Transitioning process. I already have the VAH and the DVD series, and I think that the audio program is the best yet.
I highly recommend this subscription to everyone who is in the community.
Not only are the subjects covered which are mentioned in the previous posts, but also a sort of "new" explanation into the rating of hb's based on social status, instead of looks. That provided new insight into which sets may or may prove to be more difficult to open.

Volume number and title: Volume 1 - Savoy and Sinn on opening and transitioning
Date of release: March 2006
Pros: This cd is spot on, sound quality is totally clear and the advice is easily understood (and put into practice). I actually really liked the bit covering transition, the theory that there is no transition, you just move to the next phase, this just seemed to make so much sense, as well as being told to totally obliterate the word "anyway" out of your sets, just let the conversation flow. Id recommend this to anyone, even if you dont have the dvd series etc yet, get the interview series and hear how the top PUA's explain things and a lot of things just seem to click into place.
Cons: cant honestly come up with any, no problems at all
Rating out of 10: Id seriously have to give this a 10/10. Everything ive got regarding the MM always just smacks me in the mouth and i learn from it and the interview series is no different. Id recommend it to anyone whos serious about this game.

I just got done listening to this and I have to say it is really fantastic. I really admire both Sin & Savoy. They are two of the most talented out there and to hear them spend an enitre hour talking about something I use to struggle with was both enlightening and refreshing.
The most important thing that I got out of it is to lose the word anyway from my vocabulary. I actually rely on that word alot and had NO CLUE how low status it was. It is these little tidbits that make all the difference.
It was great hearing Sin talk about negging and actually hear him run lines on what he has done when he has overnegged (something I am sure we have all experienced). There was alot more that I got out of it but instead of listing bullet by bullet, just shell out the dough and get it for yourself.
Bigups to Savoy for giving the forum a shoutout on the cd!

Volume number and title: Volume 1 - Savoy and Sinn on opening and transitioning
FYI, I emailed an inquiry about the 1st CD. Im not a subscriber. Being AFC and all, I didnt see the point in getting some of the later CDs until I come to a point in PU where I actually need them.
Approach and Opening is what I need to work on right now. The stand alone CD, volume 1 is $40. Now, they may or may not be setting up a seperate link to purchase these ala-carte.... I simply emailed them and asked. They accomidated me, and on the 3rd day I received the CD in the mail.
I'm about half way through the CD and it IS jammed packed with great information. I cannot imagine what else they could have put on here that they havent already covered! We'll see... they're still so much more on the CD I havent listened to yet!.
Audio quality is great, presentation is great, material itself is great. I should have subscribed.

Volume number and title: Volume 1 - Savoy and Sinn on opening and transitioning
Date of release: March 2006
Pros: A lot of concepts that wasn't really discussed in VAH or DVD series. The direct/indirect approaches in socially relevant settings made a lot of sense.
Cons: None. I just hate it when they talk about something other than Opening and transitioning and they say that this isn't what this interview's for. Good stuff.
Rating out of 10: 10/10

I feel people are being decieved by this thread.
I have listened to the first one episode.
The sound quality is inferior to David DeAngleo. When Savoy speaks the others fidget, scraping a metal chair around a hard floor? They fidget because Savoy is regurgitating things Mystery has said, which we have all heard before, at one point he spouts Mystery's calculation of how much hbs are approached. A lot apparently.
I remember the first ten minutes just seemed like Savoy plugging workshops. Totally unhelpful.
Then there was some other stuff, then 1.5 hours of my life had gone, and I'd learned really nothing new.
No, that's unfair, there was one good bit (ONE) which was Sinn's contingency for 'how do you all know each other' and gracefully ejecting.
The promotional material took pot shots at David DeAngelos interview series, saying with a team of gurus there would be no filler. Well set expectations like that and you get shot down for failing to furfil them. I HAVE heard better from DeAngelo. You don't need to spin it out to 1.5 hours, if its not helpful. And someone should have realised that Savoy was boring more than just his colleagues.
TRY HARDER.
I want the next episode to be really really good OK?
