Post was deleted, unsure of the reason.

I recently created a quick post regarding the situtation with Savoy and Mystery. Literally, it was a link to Mystery's blog, and something along the lines of "I wonder what Savoy's reaction to this is". It got moved to off-topic, which I had no objections to, seeing as how it wasn't technically about pickup. However, it then got deleted with the following message:

Before posting this, I had done a search to see if anybody had covered this recently. They hadn't. Even now, I'm not sure what I was supposed to look for 6 months in the past.

On top of that, just because something was posted once half a year ago doesn't necessarily mean a repeat should be deleted. The one response to that post I did get was a Moderator simply stating that he was bookmarking it. I'm assuming he meant the link, which would mean that it's something that what's been going on isn't common knowledge.

And even if that was grounds for deletion, I fail to see any constructive purpose for labelling something "dick crack". Or is that just a reference to something else I'm not getting?

In any event, I would appreciate some help in getting this cleared up. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I deleted this. I found no value in it for the group. The split was well publicized on both boards. Since I foresaw nothing constructive coming out of it I chose to exert my authority as an administrator of this board and remove it.

Dick crack is a common pua term for guys gossiping about puas. It was not a personal attack.
