Hi there,
I am not receiving email announcements from any of the threads that I subscribe to, nor am I receiving any of the OAP newsletters either. They are not ending up in my spam folder either... they are being blocked by my ISP before they even get to my email account. (When I first tried to sign up for a username on the forums, I wasn't getting the original email confirmations either.)
I asked my ISP about this, and it seems like there are some technical misconfigurations at The Attraction Forums that are preventing these email from getting to me, as well as AOL users and possibly many other users as well. Here are the complete technical details of what my ISP told me about why The Attraction Forums emails are not getting to me:
--------
The mail server they're sending these mails from doesn't have reverse DNS set up on it's IP address. AOL has this same exact protection, which means no AOL users will be able to receive their mails either.
Ideally they should figure out how to properly set up an outgoing email server. If we're blocking them, then so are *a lot* of other ISPs i know for a fact AOL uses this same no-reverse-DNS blocking method we do, and i'm sure if they do, others must as well). They can get a good idea of what they're doing wrong (and hopefully how to fix it) by submitting their mail server's hostname/IP address to:

Can you please make these technical changes on your end?
Thanks!
