Default What makes a good belt?

Hi Guys,

I'm curious what makes a good belt? Color, details, buckle? How it matches other items? What are the golden rules of wearing a belt.

My main current belt is pretty plain, its reversable so I can wear it black or brown. The buckle is pretty plain.

Have any women commented on a belt to say its good or bad?

Just would be interested on your opinions.

Cheers

I spose it depends on what type of style you have. Usually i wear a belt that will match my shoes and have an interesting/extravagant buckle. You could look into it alot further, like 'this belt will break up my shirt from my jeans' etc. Ive had some good compliments about my belts before but aslong as they help support your trousers and you feel comfortable in them, thats all that matters.

As a general rule, your belt should always match your shoes, especially if you're wearing a suit or dressy attire.

I like to wear plain or studded belts with an awesome buckle to make it stand out. Some buckles I found:

Cool:
Boutique Silver & Gold Finish Avenging Angel Buckle
Tribal Free Form
Round Celtic Pewter Buckle

novel:
Chastity Belt
Pink Shutter Shades Belt Buckle
Glow in the Dark Star Belt Buckle
Ready to Explode BOMB Belt Buckle | Body Candy Body Jewelry®
RPM Guage Belt Buckle
Hand Cuffs Belt Buckle
LED Belt Buckles

There's thousands out there, find one that matches your personality and style.
