My insecurity needs to be diminshed...

hey guys I'm going to make this very simple and short.
Whenever I'm getting dressed in the morning I go through about 3alfits. I'm always taking extremly long when I'm getting dressed. I'm very insecure about what I wear. Thoughts that come to my head are things like
" this makes my arm looks skinny"
"this shirts to short"
"this shirt looks to big"
"the base of this shirts to big and baggy"
well basically the list goes on and on. I'm always having trouble with this. This happens with my hair too everyday. I'm always going through about 2 or 3 styles everyday. It would be great if I could find a way to overcome this insecurity. I've tried rooting it and I can't really come up with much.

Any advice would be GREAT this has been an on going problem and is affecting my wallet. I need to get this taken care of as soon as possible.

You dont root your problems. Really you dont need to.

All that causes is memories of pain and remorse, and the harder you try to remember them, the more convinced you'll make your subconcious that you want to be miserable.

Well, sounds perhaps like you suffer from a bit of perfectionism. It's not a problem wanting to look good, but it sounds like your attention to too much detail is distracting you from the fact that you are still trying to care about your looks more than I'm sure most people your age around you.

My advice would be to take a step back and ask yourself if you're overanalyzing the way you dress. Unless you walk around everyday in a wifebeater with raggedy jeans and have a full mustache sans beard, I'm sure you look fine man!

It's great you care how you look. That puts you ahead of 80% of the guys out there already. In a similar way, I find myself looking at clothes and shoes as much as 2-3 hours on some nights when I'm trying to improve my style. My problem is I like way too many things out there and I have trouble making up my mind. The biggest benefit to your game will be time in field. Pay attention to how you look but I would recommend not being consumed by it, otherwise it becomes counter-productive. You should post pictures on the forum and I'm sure the guys would be willing to make recommendations on how your clothes fit etc.
