I really don't want to get into an argument, but I don't think you understand what it means to match clothes. It doesn't necessarily mean matching the same color. You can match black with red, brown with orange, green with blue, and so forth. You could be wearing purple, gray, and black and throw on a blue scarf. That's called matching. A yellow or brown scarf wouldn't work in that situation. This is why matching a scarf is important. Outfits always have to match and scarves aren't an exception. They can clash with an outfit just like any other piece of clothing.

My question: Summers comming up, and it's shorts time. But what kind of shorts is good and what is no-no? Denim shorts? Cargo's? I was thinking at some sweet boardshorts, is that ok?

Denim- No
Cargo - Meh, not the best choice
Boardshorts - great for the beach/lounge
Khaki (they come in other colours) - great for being more "dressed" up

i refuse to believe that you need to match your scarf. It's ok to be bold. you don't need to match.

Fine, go ahead. While you're at it, don't match anything else you're wearing. If you don't have to match a scarf, you don't have to match shirts, hats, shoes, or anything else that can be worn for that matter. I don't understand where you guys are getting this...
