That's if you're buying APCs.

I know this topic is pretty much covered but I'm giving my input anyway, being a jean guy myself. I personally love the Guess cliff (relaxed boot) and the guess rebel (straight leg). Big Star also has pretty sweet jeans for a good price (the pioneer is my favorite; again relaxed boot). my favorite jeans though are probably MEK, Manchester, and True Religion (all have awesome pocket detail and stitching). I don't have any Diesel, but I checked it out online and they look pretty damn cool so I'm pretty sure I know what my next pair of jeans are going to be

Sizing down is done because of two things:

1. Vanity sizing. Done to make fat people more confident and therefore like the brand better.
2. Denim stretches. about 1 inch.

You should ussually size 1 down from your real waist size (which is almost never the tagged size).

Cheers

APC tends to stretch upwards of 2" though. If you can barely get your buttons done up using needlenose pliers the first time with APC, you're in good shape.

PRPS

PRPS jeans are created by Akademiks, a New York-based clothing company founded in partnership by brothers Emmett Harrell &Nike designer, Donwan Harrell. Donwan, being a denim fanatic, began the PRPS project, which is one of Donwan's biggest projects. The price of PRPS jeans begins at $250 USD a pair.

I like Nudie jeans, they're made up organic denim and they all fit really well.
You're not supposed to wash it for at least 6 months because you need to let the denim grow in strong; washing it will weaken the denim; but its cool because (for certain cuts) if u carry around a wallet/lighter/coins in your pocket it will leave the imprint of that object (over an extensive period of time of course)

Try them on, they aren't as comfortable as Rock and Republics, but they're pretty darned close!

Anyone here with big quads have luck finding good designer jeans that fit? Almost every pair of jeans that I try on that fit my waist are tight around my thighs and butt.
