I just bought my first pair of raw denim jeans. They're a pretty cheap H&M pair, and after less than a week, I already notice some fading behind the knees. The pictures were taken after one day.

so what are the different brands/styles/costs?

I think I want to try the raw denim thing, but I won't be able to start until at least next month. As money is an issue, I think I'll start with Levi's 501's, unless someone can recommend a nicer brand that costs the same or an equal brand that costs less. Does anyone know how much I'll have to size up to get them to fit right?

Approaching the 2 month mark in under a week. Jeans are turning out nice so far. Hints of orange and light brown....really really nice tint.

Any updates guys?

I know I'm late, but I'll post anyway and keep everyone updated.

I ordered some Nudie Slim Jim Dry Japan, but they were out so I got the Dry Greycast instead.

Here are the pics right after I took them out of the package.

I've worn them almost everyday for about a week and I can already tell a big difference from when I first tried them on.

So far I love it, I wish I would have learned about dry denim sooner.
I'll try to post an update every month or so.

Great fit man. Their going to break it amazing!

How are they in the waist? They look a little loose. Wearing a belt would help prevent stretching big time.

Good to see more people in on this. I'll be posting update pics tomorrow or the next day depending on when I can get my SD card reader thing haha

I got them true to size in the waist (33) and a longer inseam (34, and I usually wear 32)

The waist is a little loose now that it has stretched a little, but its not too loose. I'm going to go get a new belt and some new shoes that look good with them soon.
