the real trick to cheap cologne is mall kiosks. If you can find a place that sells little 1/2-1/4 oz oil containers for $5-7. They buy the fragrances in large bottles and split it up for sale. This is a great way to build a set of scents you can use without dropping hundreds of dollars in department stores or the internet.

Hanae Mori - I've gotten a lot of compliments on it, and it has a bit wider scent radius (without being overpowering or anything like that) than other colognes I've tried.

Nautica voyage - I got a package with cologne, deodorant (don't really use that since it isn't antiperspirant) and aftershave lotion. A lot of times I just use the lotion with no cologne; a girl I was dating really liked the smell. She even had a couple of her friends smell me she liked it so much.

Abercrombie and fitch Fierce - I'm not a huge fan of this, but girls love the stuff.

Have anyone tried the new Marc Jacobs cologne? It's with grapefruit, pear et cetera.
I like it, but I don't know if the women do as well

women like Marc Jacobs....I wish I could wear it, but it just doesn't work well with my chemistry. I've never heard a woman say she didn't like it....except for when I tried it that is LOL, but then again....I didn't like it on me either.....so give it a shot. One tip I would advise you guys is to always go to the same place for your cologne and stay away form the dept stores....find a small store in a mall....or a kiosk. If you go there often, and build a relationship with them, they will let you go ahead and take a fragrance on a test drive through the mall....I've done this a couple times, and it helps you open and get a new cologne all at once.....ahhh 2 birds...one stone!!

Default Basenotes

Hysteria I was reading through the posts on the page and figured I would shoot on over to Basenotes, I signed up and put you as the reference. How do you obtain the free samples you have been talking about though? All I can find is how to buy full bottles...

I tried Unforgivable Black the other day, by Sean Jean colognes, and I think it's pretty awesome. Seems to be marketed towards blacks (big surprise), but it worked great with my "whitest of the white-boys" body chemistry.

I also tried the new scent from Versace (same name). It was rather "meh". Among other notables was a new scent from the guy who did Cool Water. It was good.

The way you dressing up all in a harmony with the place you are going, this is one of the rules of the stylish society that we all know.

Cologne is similar, imho. Depending on where you go, what you wear and what age group you are targeting it really is important what you chose.

For daily and sporty(jean/t-shirt) looks

Abercrombie & Fitch - Fierce

Ruehl 925

Semi casual-sporty (Jean/long sleeve t-shirt (no-iron-need button-front)

Dress up

Armani Code Black

The only recommendation I can make that's universal to any brand of cologne u use, don't over use it --- p l e a s e!! you don't want to pass through a group and make them all smell you. you want to use your cologne as the sniper shot when you are whispering to your girlfriend or a lady's ear

I absolutely love Very sexy for Men from Victoria's Secret. Plus, it's an excuse to go into a shop with lot's of HB's.

It runs about $50 per bottle.
