hehe, it wasnt a DLV, it was a barrier. You used something an obsticle as an advantage.
Thinking of it, you could say,

That would have worked in set for a friend of mine last night actually, or whenever you have a girl isolated from her set while you open.

Anyone else think this thread is Best of Material? I've seen a well groomed Fad3r wrapped up like a mummy in the desert. If he can run game on a bad day in a huge coat, anyone can do it. [uh...no offense dude.]

ROTFL. That was great! And that is really what this thread is about; if I can do it ANYONE can do it. Two things to get out of this; the opener is meaningless. In fact I might start running nonsense openers just to see what happens. And two more importantly it is not HOW you look but how congruent and confident you are. As far as best of Stallion nominated me and mad heads hit me up with positive rep (100 here I come bitchs!), but I leave that as a judgement call for you guys

Well this was an amusing anecdote. Thanks for sharing.
It reminds me of the time I was working graveyard at a gym. A woman called up to complain about something after the managers went home, and I was trying to pacify her, best I could.
Out of nowhere, the "inspiration" to mess with this woman hit me. Don't ask me why or how; I was in my sane mind. I think. I liked the job--loved it, even--and even though it occurred to me that I might be jeapordizing my job, I told her: "shoot girl, come on down here. I'll knock you out."
Fellas, she was there in TEN MINUTES. And it wasn't to complain..!
So. To bring it back to fad3r's story, looks sometimes are irrevelant. You'll never convince me that they don't count with some women--especially the really young, hot ones---but tight game can bring a PUA far......

The suspense is KILLING me: did you spell 'competent' wrong on purpose, you know, to enhance a sense of "irony" being that it is, afterall, competence being addressed?
