I would have to disagree Muffinman, its pays to be a health nut

and pick and choose the right stuff to eat.
moving on, i'm sure a big reason for this thread was to get good breakfasts to supply the nutritions for peoples daily workout no? correct me if im wrong. im working out and hoping to gain some weight, wieghing in at 160 right now, needing 160g protein a day i had to get creative to supply all this. Heres a killer breakfast i had today, i was full after the bowl of cereal and protein shake but i just went to town with it and finished it.
my breakfast today included a
bowl of cereal with about a cup+ of milk
protein 10g
carbs 31g
fat 8.5g
calories 280
fiber 1g
6 raw eggs Nutritional Facts
protein 36g
carbs 0
fat 24g
calories 420
(these are totals for 6 eggs)
protein shake: muscle milk + 1 cup milk + mango (or banana; can add some peanut butter for more protein w/ banana, dunno about w/ mango)
Protein 40g (8g milk, 32g muscle milk)
carbs 29g
fat 20g
calories 460
fiber: 5g
nutritional value from mango not added in
1 shot of extra virgin olive oil
360 calories
42g fat
and all these have have a crapload of vitamins, nutirients, and omega 3 fatty acids, way too many to list.
Totals: + mango not include in nutrition break down
Calories: 1520 +
Protein: 86g +
Fat: 94.5g +
carbs: 60g +
Fiber: 6g +
My daily foods have always included raw eggs, and just started using muscle milk for workout and cardio days. Its been a gold mine for nutrients and protein. The rest of the days meals can pretty much just be mediocre nutritionally after this motherload.
Anyone else working out trying to gain weight? Wuts a good breakfast or diet in general that you use?
