Default So I've been trying a "celebrity diet".

Haha, I can feel the bodybuilders here groaning. Everyone thinks this is a bad idea. So, I'm glad I never listen to what anyone else says. I've lost about 25 pounds of fat and water on this program and actually put on muscle.
3 months ago I was scrawny and had a gut. Really, it was terrible. I had man boobs. Now I have pecs and a six pack, thanks to the much dreaded celebrity diet.

To keep it quick I watched Blade Trinity one night and saw this:

Then I saw my own body and wept.

So I turned to my personal savior, Google and found exactly what his guy ate and some of the workouts he did:
I've altered the diet slightly to fit my own needs but here it is:

Mornings:
1 Cup of oatmeal, 1 Cup applesauce, 2 hard boiled eggs (you could also try fried or scrambled w/ salsa), protein shake

Mid morning:
Protein Bar (Pure Protein) AND
1 apple OR
1 cup low fat yougurt AND
1 apple (fiber will help keep you full)

Lunch:
Turkey sandwich or wrap, maybe peanut butter
1 piece fruit (again fiber, and few calories)
1 serving whole wheat crackers (usually 7-10 crackers-you feel like a dork counting them out, but it works)

Mid afternoon:
Peanut butter and honey/jelly sandwich (the small amount of sugar in honey or jelly helps with a small energy boost)

Pre-workout
Protein shake (to preserve muscle during workout

Post workout
Protein Shake
8oz. Gatorade (to help get glycogen to muscles immediately after workout)

Dinner:
Grilled chicken
1 cup cooked broccoli or mixed veggies (add low-fat shredded cheese if you want more flavor
1 cup salad
1/2 cup brown rice
2 pieces dark chocolate (dark chocolate helps produce Nitric oxide and has antioxidents

Night:
Peanut butter on toast or
1-2 cups low salt no butter popcorn or
Handful of Almonds

Before bed
Protein shake (made with casin protein)

He would do 500-1000 situps a day to get those glorious abs. (People are telling me to just use weights to speed the process, but I'm sticking with it this way.) Also, I do weighted leg lifts with a 15 pound dumbbell whenever I can.

I'm on Creatine Monohydrate, L-Glutamine, CLA, a multivitamin, and the Whey shakes.

The rest of the workout isn't specified so I turned to this site
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exercises.htm

It's really working out great, so I thought I'd share.

His abs are from low bodyfat, not situps. Situps won't do anything for your abs visually if you're too fat for them to show.

That's where the CLA, and cardio come in
The diet itself aids in that also.
You can't say the situps don't help at all

I mean it isn't 100 percent of anything but 1 percent of 100 things.

Ab definition is your diet,I do the same ab workout year around, and depending on my diet I have abs showing or I don't. If thats working for you, great, but take a look at this http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/layne4.htm

I highly respect what this man says, good luck on your quest for abs either way.

BTW I skimmed your diet, it looks spot on though so congrats on that
