Default does quality whey have a taste?

i see a lot of articles saying to put it in smoothies and oatmeal, etc. and was wondering does it have no taste if you can put it in multiple things?

ive taken a couple protein shakes but they were all distinct flavors like strawberry or chocolate

You can get whey without adding flavouring but it does have a natural flavour

Biotest makes a good natural whey that's high quality.

Other than that, I'd say stick with a vanilla or chocolate. You can mix those with quite a few things and it won't taste too horrible.

I get the unflavoured whey, cheap as chips, but tastes like earwax, fine once mixed with other things though,
