| | | Simply put, p90x kicks ass.
The thing about it is that it makes use of some basic equipment, like tension bands. It is GREAT if you like to work out at home.
If you prefer to work out at a gym, I'd recommend the Animal Series.
[I.e. Animal Arms, Animal Chest]
Best of luck

| | | I have some general familiarity with it. The catch is you have to bust your ass. Looks like a good program. |

| | | I think P90X is a waste of money. If you look at the before and after photos, 90% of the people already had low bodyfat but weren't very muscular, IE lots of cardio and a clean diet but no lifting. If you add in any lifting program to that already solid regimen, you'll see some drastic changes w/o a doubt.

| | | What? how can it be crap? Think about it, if you work out you gain muscle. In the P90x you work out right? So you are going to gain muscle, just like if you were doing 500 pushups per day.
If you want to get cut up, its the diet you need to pay attention to.

| | | Gage, you have to follow some intelligent diet if you want to lose body fat. Getting, "lean" or "ripped" or "muscular" without losing body fat generally doesn't work unless you are already emaciated.
So the workouts will not "work" if your goal is to have a lean physique and you are doing the workouts but eating too much.
Everybody else, there are blogs out there with photos of not-very-fit people following these routines and getting better results than most guys who go to the gym for three months. It's probably not "crap." | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
