question about library

hey guys, I'm pretty much new to this, and was wondering if you guys can give some advice


I walked to the girl,smiled,held eye contact and handed a paper with tic tat toe and "winner gets coffee"
I went back to my place.
Then she came to my place and just left the paper and go.(It had ○) But she didn't come back for more than an hour with her stuff there.So I decided to go back.(It's almost the finals, so we're all sort of busy)
I wrote another × and left it where she was sitting.

My questions are
1.was this the best way how I did it?
do you have any thoughts so that I'll do better the next time?

2.which do you think is better to start when I see her next time.
Since I had a good move and I'm definitely gonna win in tic-tat-toe,
・hey you gotta buy me a coffee
・did you run away cuz you were about to lose?

or any thoughts?
