creepiness of daygame

I have been doing most openers on moving daytime targets.

Even though day game has advantages, because they don’t expect to be hit on (as opposed to nighclub) I think the chicks still ask themselves “who is this freak telling me some girlfriend/boyfriend story”. I suppose there is always an extra initial mistrust that is part of daygame?

If you dont feel comfortable running game material on people during the day you can use something more general like "can you tell me the time" and expand it (I like wearing a watch while asking).

Eg.
Fair: Can you tell me the time
Her: But your wearing a watch/looks at your watch (or if she doesn't ask explain why you are asking while wearing a watch)
Fair: Well my watch should be waterproof but i went surfing the other day and ever since its been playing up. I almost missed my flight back to Sydney the other day because it was slow.

Using this you've already opened and given further conversation points. Plus demonstrated value.

Though it is harder to progress to the later stages using such an indirect approach.
