tell me something interesting

Im not sure if this belongs in this section, but i think it does.

A couple months ago a girl approached me and said "tell me something interesting." I went on to talk about the origin of the peace sign (she was wearing one of those peace necklaces that are ever so trendy these days and it happened to be the 50th anniversary of when the sign was created.)

anyways, i realized that she was compliance testing me. so i decided to field test this and its never failed. I usually wait until i am one on one with the girl and building comfort, its also my fail safe when i cant think of anything to say or when there is some sort of awkward silence.

Its simple, but yet i have gotten a wide variety of answers that always lead to a new thread of conversation. Actually on friday i asked this question and she started telling me about her having cervical cancer.

I'm somewhat confused. It seems as if you're saying you used the line, "tell me something interesting," though you haven't explicitly stated it. To clarify, this is what you're talking about, right? Also if I got it right, I've asked this question not during attraction, but somewhere in comfort, I've gotten quite a few interesting responses. What kind of feedback are you looking for from us here in the community?
