help tweak my identity statement When people ask what I do it's hard to explain, and by the end I get yawns. Of course when a woman asks what I do the first thing I say is "I'm a male ass model", followed up with "What is this an interview?"
At some point during the comfort phase it's good to drop your identity line, and I've been working on mine, but I think it's kinda blah. Here's what I've got so far:
"I free Canada's research knowledge to the public."
I'm working as a partner in a project funded by the Canadian government that's attempting to make all Canadian research (academic journals, publishments, research data) freely available to all Canadians online. It affects everyone in my country, so there's GOT TO be some way to make that sound cool.
Any suggestions? |
