When Conversation Loses Speed...

Today I fucked up again. I had these 30 somethings in the palm of my hand and let them get away. One was an HB7.5 other was HB4. The HB4 gave me her number without even talking to me first, whatever, thinking maybe pull a hat trick.

So I talk to the HB7.5 and she is playing with her hair from the beginning. We talked for quite a while (she was drinking, I wasn't), about 45 minutes. The last 10 minutes I felt that the conversation was kind of rambling even though we were talking about new things.

She and her friend then go to the bathroom together, while they do that I talk to other people in her group. One chick accuses me of looking at her boobs and is insulted (wtf.. I wasn't, there were none to look at!) so I say "what day is it today? oops... not you're lucky day." (cockblock?)

So when my target comes back she is talking to other people in her group. I then start another conversation with some guys in an adjacent group. 5 minutes later the entire group I was talking to leaves without saying goodbye. I blew it.

So, after a chick is definitely into you. What do you do when the convo starts to dwindle off? I'm finding going off and talking to other people pisses them off unless they are really really needy.

Maybe try to get the target alone. It sounded like you had it and then became the victim of the group dynamic. The HB4 could have gotten bored and wanted to go away. The 7 wasnt attached to you enough to go against her friend. Here's where a wing can help a lot too. I would try and isolate more next time.
