Fucking Facebook...

So I get her number, I call her a day or so later, I get her voice mail and leave a quick message. But sometimes instead of a call back I get a fucking facebook message from her. She tries to set up the date over facebook, which as you can imagine, cuts into my comfort time because she is typing not talking. So what should I say over facebook? I normally go with "I hate facebook, so impersonal. Give me a call unless you're (work in a neg or running gag from when we met). But I'd like something better...

How does everyone else deal with this?

Personally - I never call. It's too fucking easy to cock up over the phone and I just don't like it. I ONLY send texts - its fun, its easy...and mine are all free

Be cool man - the fact she messaged you over facebook is a good thing. Set up the freekin date over facebook! Whats the big deal?...you'll have plenty of time for rapport and comfort when you meet.

Anyhow, me and (my wing) are going to this cool tapas bar with some friend on Friday (tonight) you should come out. I really think you will like them. Let me know.

P.S. Please wear the shoes that make you sound like a horse, they are so fetch. (it was a running gag/ semi neg...including the mean girls reference)"

If she's trying to set a date with you, just let her. A lot of chicks are weird like that, too scared to call you at first so they text or facebook or something instead. I get a lot of this. Go with it.

Thats pretty much SPOT on mate - I like it. The stalker thing...awesome...although I'd maybe write:

"Hey *sweetheart, babe, short stuff* :-) (I always give girls nick names - generally babe and sweetheart ;-) ) ...so YOUR my stalker?! You remembered my last name AND found me on facebook?!! I mean, my mom always said I was cool but... ;-) <--- The wink is important

I've changed that script VERY slightly, but the details are important. Using smileys over text or facebook is VERY important. Check this out:
