Text messager in the bar

since everybody especially females are usually in the bar text messaging
there has to be a good opener to say to a girl texting in the bar

some girls even whip it out while i'm running my routines, and just start
texting away..

does anybody have a comment/routine/response/neg to have prepared for when this situation arrives which is every single time anybody human goes out

I once opened the following happy hour 3-set:

HB7 - On her phone
HB8 - Texting
HBUglyFriend - Just closed her phone staring into nothingness

Here was the improved opener and subsequent interaction:
Me: "Wow, aren't you three the essence of the modern socially awkward!"
HBs: "What?!?" - not sure if they should be offended.
Me: No, seriously...look at the three of you. One on the phone, the other texting, the other lonely against the wall. It's like you three came out to be sure you didn't have to talk to eachother. That's hilarious!"
HB7: *On the phone* "Hold on I have to call you back." *Hangs up*

From that point, she was hooked as was the group. Stuck around and bantered for a while until my buddy let me know HB8 was a chick he was after at his office. Turns out HB7 who hung up was talking to her boyfriend. That was certainly some good compliance. The key to this whole thing was ploughing through the "WTF did you just say to us" reaction I got at first.

I've been looking for a chance to use it again. I think it could certainly be tweaked for different situations. Critique from all is welcome!

I strongly advise against touching another person's phone during attraction phase. Maybe A3, but still.

usually when i see a girl texting with her friends in a group of texters, i go into my opener routine of
" hey, since you girls look like professional texters over here, do you take i think ask you guys a quick question? Since text messaging is how everybody communicates now and days, do you think its fine to break up with a bf or gf over a text message?"

when a HB flips open her phone, and closes it.
