Answering straight questions?

TMM uses questions often mainly as a transition into another routine or futher phase of pickup.

David DeAngelo says to avoid answering trapping questions with a straightforward answer but not so much that you'll seem that you're hiding something.

I'm just wondering what people's thoughts are on answering straightforward questions that are more difficult to work around.
Example... Chick diggs me, asks me the other day "umm just curious are we friends or...?"

How would you go about answering something like that that would be a more difficult question to work around or shrug off?

i would give a playful answer or cocky answer..but for that i would be like no we not friends and walk off like she pissed you off then wisper something in her ear like you can be my girl for today

I read this somewhere on the forum, can't remember where. If she asks you that question just reply with "If you are looking for a friend go ask Barney or Winnie the pooh".

I wouldn't overanalyze everything that comes out of her mouth though, that's a dangerous trap to fall in. Be open and direct sometimes and a bit cocky & funny other times.

I always say the opposite of what a normal, expected answer would be.

In this case, if she asks "just curious.. are we just friends or..?"

I would reply with "We're enemies, *name*! I can't believe you didn't know that."

Then jump into role-playing.
