if women have sex to validate themselves...what do men do it for?
I firmly believe that women do it for validation as I have heard this a number of times from women who have one night stands or f buddies. Men just seem to do it because of the caveman instinct.

I don't know about you, but I have sex because I LIKE IT. Same as women. Don't read too deep into psycho-babble, man. People have sex because it feels good. If it didn't, we wouldn't do it. If you're doing it for any other reason, you should step back and figure out why.

What if a woman has a bf? Then what is the doing it for? I tend to think that, especially if the woman has been in a LTR, that she does it for validation.

I only ask because lately I seem to only be hooking up with women who have boyfriends.

I'm specifically referring to ONS or Fbuddies not necessarily LTR.
If a girl has a bf and sleeps with someone else, then she's clearly not that into her bf. Part of it could be validation but if she was validated enough by her bf and emotionally invested enough, she wouldn't do it.
It's just a phrase I have heard over an over again from girls when referring to ONS but I've never ever heard a male ina group of friends say it. Perhaps it's an excuse to say to everyone within their social dynamics due to social pressure?

Or maybe they just like having sex. Saying that women have sex for validation is like saying that women are all emotionally stunted, low self-esteemed losers who get their validation from sex. There are women like that out there; there are guys like that, too. They're the type of guys that make notches on their bedposts, and you can find a lot of them right here on this forum.

On the other hand, there are plenty of emotionally adjusted women out there who don't need validation; they just need some dick. As a matter of fact, if a woman is truly high quality, then she doesn't need validation from you or any man at all. She gets that from herself, or from her friends, or through some other healthy channel. But she still has needs.

The bottom line is WOMEN LIKE SEX. Why look any deeper into it than that? Just enjoy it, man.

I think it's nonsense to make a generalization such as "WOMEN have sex for validation". Some women do have sex for validation. It's the same as saying, "Some women don't like Coca Cola."

It's not something you need to over-think or analyze. Sex feels good for women as well as men. If it didn't, we wouldn't do it. Human beings are pleasure-seeking creatures. Just enjoy it.
