Does she really want me not to call her anymore?

This evening I got a chick's phone number and after about an hour I decided to call her to get her used to me as new part of her life:
Me: Hey, how do you do? Have you meet your girl friends?
HB: Hi! Yeah, we met, they are here with me.
Me: It was fun talking to you; I noticed that your earing are exactly the same as mine are. You know, it's some time I haven't seen around any others made of this material as ours; they become pretty rare.
HB: Oh yeah?
Me: I found that you have a pretty expressive face - did you ever do acting...
A female friend of her gets to the phone interrupting me with shit tests: hey who are you?
Me: I am someone she just met. Now I'd like to talk to her.
Friend: I am her girlfriend, and I am jealous so don't call her anymore, okay?
Me: Well, that is not a problem - we can hang out all three together.
Friend [maintaining frame]: No, she is my girlfriend and I'm jealous so don't call her anymore, okay?
Me: hmm... Okay. Bye
Friend: Bye

When I met her she wore only one earing so I asked her in a c&f way if she is a lesbian to which she said she is not.
At the phone I suppose she may have felt uncomfortable so she passed the phone to her friend asking her to tell me not to call her anymore. What do you think, should I call her again tomorrow and try to talk to her or leave her behind?

Your phone game sucked as hell. Check out Sinn's thread on how to do it right. Call her another time, when you suppose that she's alone. Don't let a stupid girlfriend cross your line.

Thanks for your answer but it is not complete since you did not back your statement so in order to complete it point out what are the things that sucked so much according to you and also give an example of how the conversation should have proceeded starting from mine.

Consider, Angelo, that she was standing there (we think) the whole time her friend was disrespecting you on the phone.

At any point, she could have taken her own phone back to talk with you, but she didn't.

It might be worth one more shot just to satisfy your own curiosity, but I'm thinking that she gave up the phone to her friend because she wasn't interested.

As you know, there are a zillion or two reasons why women give their phone number out without being truly interested in the person.

So, aside from thinking about your own phone game, you might consider whether or not you had built sufficient comfort with this chick before getting digits.

Personally, I'm more inclined to move on if something like this were to happen.

There are quite literally millions of available women in the world.

I know that it must have been the comfort because I haven't built much because of lack of time; it is likely she had given the number to not seem socially closed.

What could you have done better?
- Don't ask her how she's doing. Instead begin the conversation with something like "Get what just happened to me [crazy nickname]!"
- "It was fun talking to you..." Never ask how she's doing or how great it was meeting her.
- "... you have a really expressive face..." No complements either.


You still have to build attraction on the phone, or she won't have a reason to see you again, if you aren't funny/interesting enough, right?

Greeting: I say introduce yourself on the phone, because it will save you the awkward moment if she doesn't remember you. Some guys prefer to say hey it's me or let the girl try to figure it out. IME that is awkward and doesn't work.

That's a little too "deep" for a girl you just met.

But, one thing I don't do much is call girls when I think they are gonna be busy/with friends. The alternative would be to text, but trying to have a phone conversation with a girl that doesn't know you all that well while she's with her friends and doing whatever on her time is an uphill battle. Most of my "good" phone-conversations with girls seem to take place in the late evening.

But yeah, she'll probably give you the run-around if you keep pursuing like that.
