I know I didn't include few of the most prolific bands but as far I'm concerned, the bands I've included are equally as good as the ones that I left out.

Out of those you've listed my favorite is Pantera but my favorite metal (well they're more post-hardcore than metal but metal is a rather loose term anyway) is Fightstar.

Chuck has been a huge inspiration to my own guitar playing.

- Children of Bodom ('Hatebreeder' is my favorite, but 'Follow The Reaper' is widely considered their best)
- Nevermore (Enemies of Reality)
- Morbid Angel (Gateways to Annihilation)
- At The Gates (Slaughter of the Soul)
- Yngwie Malmsteen & Rising Force (I only have 'Unleash The Fury', but 'Far Beyond The Sun' is a great album too)
- Dimmu Borgir (only have Puritanical Eurphoric Misanthropia)
- Opeth (only have Blackwater Park)
