Default Stress is killing me,literally

Ok so over the coarse of the summer,I was put through the most intense stressful situations 24/7.Now I was able to cope with it and I thought I was dealing with it properly.Turns out that it was still slowly building up because I was exposed to stress all the time

Now,its affecting my state because I can't relax and calm down.Their is a constant pain in my chest that does not go away.Ive tried everything in my anxiety and phobia workshop book and it doesn't work.Which includes
Playing video games
Playing with an animal
Showering
sarging
Some R&R
Laughing
watching comedy
masturbating
shopping
working out
running
Blah...I have to go to the doctor...

What do you guys do that relives a lot of stress?

well alot of the examples you gave to relieve stress are great. Im surprised there not making any difference. Even though your doing those activities if your mind is still on (whatever is stressing you out) it wont work. They are mainly to take your mind off things. Going to a doctor may help but if there just going to prescibe you drugs it will only make factors worst in the long run. I'm not a doctor but I want you to write down 5 things you most love to do and simply do those 5 things. Also, make sure when you work out that you break a sweat. Otherwise its pointless for relieveing stress. When you sweat its like a big anti oxidant , its cleansing your body. But like the other guy said in his post it'd be alot easier to help out if we knew the causes of your stress.

Yeah, I think you definitely have to get to the root of the stress to beat it. If it's not something you can control, let go of it, and if you can control it, then take action against it.

Other stuff that can help relieve stress:
Yoga
Crying (yes, I know ur a man, but it's amazing how beneficial it can be in some situations. Can you say endorphin high?)
Listening to relaxing music
Meditating

Also, watch your diet. Try to avoid consuming high levels of refined sugars, cuz they will make you hyper and make it harder to relax.

My 2 cents,

Rogue
