I move to another hostel, downtown San Diego, closer to the clubs. The first 2-3 days I build a small
social circle: I make friend with my roommates and part of the staff working in the hostel. I'm always loud and funny and always show high energy.
One of the girls at the reception HBGermany becomes my target. I use some cocky funny stuff. I manage to isolate her on the second night. I use my usual routines: palm reading,
kino, I make her qualify to me and run the cube. The cube is rather small and I get lots of signs that this girl is really insecure and inclined to depression too. This lowers her value but I decide to continue and game her anyway for practice purposes. She seems attracted to me but she doesn’t pass the
kino compliance test.
The second night (Monday) we go out to Henry’s pub on the 5th Av. A few sets available. Very few HB8s though. HBGermany is not there. I spot a few people from my new
social circle, so I enter the set with high energy level by opening an Australian girl (5) from the hostel staff who know everybody and proved very social. She is talking to 2 Dutch girls I had briefly met the previous day. HB7.5 and HB8. I give high five to the Oz girl, I slightly neg the 2 Dutch girls, and some DHV. I then high 5 all of them, leave and open an adjacent set of Irish girls. Cocky funny , basic
kino. I take some pictures with them always keeping high energy. Then I go out for a cigarette. The Oz girl is there, so I open another mixed set (1 girl and 2 guys, also from Australia) and it comes up that they are from Australia. So I merge the sets and then I go back to my target with one of my AFC friends following me. And I start gaming her.
Eye movement routine, finger routine (
kino), then I make her qualify. She is a physiotherapist working in a 5 star luxury hotel in Amsterdam. She gives massaged to stars, VIPs and politicians. Then, I improvise some risky stuff:
TWINS: You know, there must be some strange mental connection between me and you. I can see you're a very sensitive woman but at the same time you're assertive and determined. You’re very loyal to your friends.
HB It's true
TWINS And I can tell you love martial arts.
HB OMG! How do you know??
I could tell because one of my past oneitises was into taekwondo and the shape of the back was similar. So we’re in A3 and when I make her qualify for me she tells me that last summer she worked for Steven Tyler and his daughter in Amsterdam during the Aerosmith European tour. Now, I happen to be a huge fan of Aerosmith so the Mystery line came out spontaneously:
TWINS: OMG! You gave a massage to Steven Tyler himself!!?! Aerosmith are my favourite band! I did the whole European tour last year with them (which is true). I CAN’T EVEN TALK TO YOU NOW!
And I do a takeaway adding some Italian drama and I join the other OZ mixed set. While I take over the other set I see she remains frozen for a couple of minutes. I decide not to go back immediately. She leaves. After that, I keep looking at other guys hitting on her. After all, it’s so true: a woman can get laid every night very easily . ..
The big mixed set becomes a 2-set plus me (Australian HB5, me and a Swiss AFC). The OZ girl is drunk and gives me clear IOIs. She even says she desperately wants to make out. I say I can introduce her to any guy in the room if she gets me a cigarette and a drink for my AFC friend. She jumps through the hoop without any problem.
After about 15-20 minutes after my takeaway with the target I decide it’s time to approach her again. I go back inside and approach another set. Her friend, HB8 is talking to an English guy from the hostel that he had been seen talking with her for the entire evening. Wrong body language, not locked in at all (he was facing her and following her like a little dog...) But he looked very determined and focused. I decide to Amog him for practice...
So I get in the set, high five the 2, I say it's too hot inside and ask some other questions., but with higher energy. Then I start talking to the girl for a few minutes turning my back to the guy. After a while I notice that the guy had left… I eject too. My target was talking to a big black guy, laughing... I go there and whisper to her ear to come outside because I wanted to make her an offer. She doesn’t come. I wait outside. In the mean time my Swiss AFC friend got the free drink from the HB5 and I got my cigarette. She also found a man for herself. The Swiss AFC has to get back inside because of the alcohol laws in San Diego (you can’t drink outside a pub after midnight).
I stay outside. As soon as she comes out I approach her directly. I say that if she teaches me the basics of professional massaging I'll do a psychology test on her that can improve her self-awareness (the Cube of course). The OZ pivot leaves with his guy, the swiss AFC drinks his Rum/coke in isolation with himself. We decide to go back to the hostel.
In the hostel, around 1.30 am there are still a lot of people around. We sit in a comfort location, apparently isolated. I was totally out of my comfort zone, because there were constantly people passing by and we were sitting on the floor just in front of the security cameras. I decide to force myself and to continue my set out of my comfort zone. I go back to my offer:
TWINS So now I’m going to do this visualization exercise. We’re going to explore your inner self and you’ll reach a higher level of awareness. Then you'll teach me how to give a professional massage…
HB7 I don't know if I can do it...
I try to run the cube but she doesn’t manage to visualise anything. (???). We try a couple of times than we just drop it. But I insist she teaches her massaging techniques. I insist. She finds some excuses, then she complies. She gives me a nice massage for about 5 minutes while sitting on the floor (you could tell she was a professional) explaining how to identify the different part of the muscles etc. Then, it’s my turn. She let’s me practice on her...
She says I’m really good. I respond that she was a good teacher... She sat next to me. The time for the kiss close had arrived. I was totally out of my comfort zone, completely sober, people passing by smiling at me, a camera just in front of us (with the receptionist watching), my sticking point about Kiss/F-closing the same night. I go for the close, Mystery Method:
TWINS: Do you want to kiss me?
HB8: (pause-smile)... I don't know.
TWINS: Let’s find out.
I kiss her very gently… I bite her neck a little bit…
She was into it. I eject first…
We chat for a few minutes, than we kiss again. I convince her to go upstairs. There are already 3 people sleeping for sure in my bedroom so it’s out of question for me to F-close in a 6-bedroom (upper bunk bed) so the only option was the shower in the bathroom upstairs… So I get LMR, just as I imagined. I react by saying “OK” and start playing in front of the mirror with an earring that OZ 5 gave to me before meeting his guy (maybe as lock in prop...). HBHolland says she wants to cook pancakes for me the following morning. I say ok, in a cold way... She looks hesitant. We make out again in the bathroom (in the mean time people were coming and going out of the bathroom…). I get another LMR… . We say good-bye. She insists she wants to cook pancakes for me the following day. (I don’t actually know what’s th message behind this).
In retrospect, maybe I had to force her and go for the f-close in the shower. I don't know... I also notice I still spend to much time DHVing and building attraction and not enough time building comfort...
Anyway, all things considered, it was a good set and I was satisfied for having been out of the comfort zone for so long in order to close. Beside, I had a professional massage, I learned some techniques and I got her email, which can be still useful if one day I go to Amsterdam (and I’ll go sooner or later). I didn’t get to taste the Dutch pancakes though. I woke up too late…
