Sore throat after kissing a girl who smokes. - The Attraction Forums

Basically, I've been seeing this girl who smokes cancer sticks, and marijunna frequently (mostly during when shes driving). When she comes up to hang out its a 40 minute drive, and she does it quite frequently in that time frame. Now when I start to kiss her alot, my throat starts to get sore.

I've talked to her about this, she said she would rather stop, then stop seeing me. I don't want be that selfish. I'm thinking its my throat/lungs cleaning the bacteria, or its just that she's drying out my mouth. Has anyone else experienced this, or know anything about the issue.

Oh dude, that's gross! At least tell her not to do it before she comes over. She could still do it in her free time all she wants. And that's not selfish, you'll actually be helping her health a bit.

I'd say:

Make her wait after you guys are done with kissing/whatever to smoke.

On the throat thing:

God, that is disgusting. Check with your doctor to make sure thats not gonna affect you in the long run man.

And how does she drive while she's high? When I get high I'm scared shitless to even go into subways because I'm scared I'll do something stupid and jump infront of it. Especially weed.

Dont drive with someone thats not in complete controll of themselves. Atleast I wouldnt.

Oh I completely understand how you can find that repulsive.

The problem is, her lifestyle is different from your lifestyle. Typically, people that describe cigarettes as cancer sticks and weed as marijuana have a little bit different outlook on life, drugs, and partying.

I am sure her idea of fun is completely different from your idea of fun? Might hurt in the long run, if you start exclusive relationship with her.

I don't think your throat is hurting from her smoke. (Unless it's second hand and you are over sensitive). She probably carries bacteria in her mouth, and god knows what they can be. (you can have chlamydia/gonorrhea in the mouth/throat. It could be just sore throat from common cold)

You're right my bad, I mean no dis-respect.
I think half of it is in my head, and drinking water helps.

For the most part our idea of partying is the same.

Also - Before i've checked for "mono" when it was really bad, and it was strep throat.
