Unexpected ||||blockers.

What do you guys suggest for unexpected ||||blockers? I know how to disarm obstacles in a group set and I can deal with a 2 set becoming a 3 or a 3 set becoming a 4 but what happens if you've isolated your target and a ||||blocker shows up specifically to deny you? I had this happen twice last night while working a really hot blonde HB10. The first time it was a single female ||||blocker and I used the best friends test to dispel her but 10 minutes later she and another girl showed up, said some stuff to the girl I had just kiss closed (and was trying to escalate), took her by the arm, told her she couldn't do this and dragged her away. What can you do? Any suggestions? I moved on to a new set, is that all I could do?

personally, i will:
walk up to the girls,

"that was kinda rude. you don't say hi and just grabbed your friend away like putting down a puppy. do i look like the big bad wolf to you?"

wait for response. always discredit her with something like

"obviously you don't know me at all. "

then go direct on the target, if you like the target you have to go direct because her friends will ||||block you again elsewise

"look, i have no idea what your friends are thinking but there is something about you that stands out, and i can't quite to put my finger on"

try to poke her with your finger a few times,

"nope, still don't know what it is. *make sure you smile.* but since your friends just killed my mood fir this place. i am gonna get out of here. so how do i poke you in the future?"

that is how i will proceed from reading your post. i almost never do any routines.

Wouldn't cussing her friends turn them all against you? And since you got their back "up" (pissed some of the set off), they aren't gonna be able to read your flirting/techniques/etc, no???

well, he has already alienated the target's friends. once they ||||block you it is very hard to turn them around. so the solution i proposed kinda just follow the trend instead of spending another half hour proofing the friends. (which is doable but consider how op neglect to befriend the friends, i doubt that will be successful)

Well I had it happen again but I was able to overcome it and I wanted to share what happened. I don't like canned routines much but I reworked one to fit this situation. I was talking to a girl who I had isolated from a set (I'd already worked the group), I was getting good IOIs and I had some great kino escalation in motion. We danced a bit and talked lots. I knew when I had approached this girl that I wasn't getting laid that night because the reason I approached was due to her class, as well as her looks and I knew that being classy I would have to work a little harder. It was going really well until a female ||||blocker showed up and said outright "you're just trying to get laid aren't you" and started throwing monster hoops.

I didn't respond except I held my hand out to the ||||blocker, palm up and said "come here, lets talk..." She didn't give me her hand but she followed me to the table and we sat down face to face with my target standing at the end of the table. I said "You see over there across the dance floor, beside the DJ booth? There's a pretty blonde girl sitting there in a white summer dress with flowers on it?" She said "yeah." I said, before I started talking to Michelle (my target) I was talking to her and we were getting along great and if I'd played my cards right I probably could have taken her home tonight...now when Michelle walked by I decided to leave the blonde girl and approach Michelle...do you know what drew me to her? It wasn't her beauty, although she's a very beautiful girl look around, beauty is everywhere...that girl is beautiful, you're beautiful, Michelle is beautiful. I decided to approach Michelle because of her class, her poise and her confidence...I knew when I approached her that I was giving up my chance for sex tonight but I didn't care because sometimes in life there are more important things. Like I said, beauty is common but do you know what is very rare? A great outlook, good energy, and a wonderful personality. I'm very disappointed that you chose to interrupt because I was enjoying talking to her."

The obstacle looked me in the eye for a moment, Michelle smiled even bigger than I'd seen her smile all night and the ||||blocker just stood up and walked back to her friends. This is nothing more than a routine directly from the Mystery Method except I've reworked it to blast female ||||blockers. I'm going to try it again when it happens and I'll give a more updated Field Report on how it goes.

jaq69, you have to win the set in the first place to get your target. That's the whole point! If a ||||blocker comes like that, you didn't do your homework.
