What to make of a friend's opinion... - The Attraction Forums

I'll try to keep this short.

What do I do? Mixed signals from target, one day she's throwing IOI's everywhere, the next she seems to almost be avoiding me. She's the one who initiates conversation and it was her who made the first plans. Pretty confusing stuff imo...

So I pulled aside her bestie aside when she wasn't around one day. Her bestie and I are friends:

Me: "So does HB like me? Because I'm getting mixed signals.""
Her: "Mmm yeah she definitely likes you! ...As a friend."
Me: "Okay that's good cos I wouldnt have wanted her to get hurt, thx for telling me."

It KILLED ME to hear that. I seriously don't think I'm in the friends zone, but I'm going to assume the worst and just distance myself from her for a while.

So whadya think guys? Is HB's bestie worth listening to? What could it all mean?

Ignore the friend. This isn't high school. Never do anything like that again unless it is calculated. Women tell eachother everything, and you can bet that she is going to share that conversation with her friend.

The girl ur talking about... is she like that with everyone? I mean does she give mixed signals to anyone else or jst u? If u see her giving signals to someone else then disregard it, its her way of being, dont look at them as IOIs. If its not so then dont listen to her girlfriend. Girls arent supposed to know what they want.

Soz for the late reply guys lots of stuff's been going on lately and I haven't really had a chance to check out the forums for a while.

Hitman you brought up a great point that's definitely worth considering regarding different kinds of chicks and how they act. This girl was definitely attracted to me in the beginning, but what I confused as her being shy or jealous actually turned out to be her losing some interest...

In hindsight maybe I should have posted this a lot earlier: Chill84, I totally didn't agree with you the first time I read your response, but from what's happened and looking back I was being a bit of a soft||||. Because of related acts along those lines and pretty much failing to be a man and interacting with her directly I'm now well and truly in the LJBF zone.

Bit annoyed, but it's a learning experience I guess. Plenty of others out there (few billion actualy), so I'm not too fussed.
