Has anyone had to *develop* a sense of humor?

Not sure if I mentioned this, but part of this thread made its way into Magic Bullets. Actually, so did a few forum things - and more will be in v1.5, which isn't all that far away.

I have worked on this area of my life and have had success but I can not say any book or dvd program has significantly helped me that much (DD's C/F Seminar DVD, Comedy Writing Secrets)
I learned through mostly time, modeling other peoples behavoir (especially my brother who is naturally an alpha c/f type of guy)
And I learned A LOT about being funny is inner game. Its being BOLD, its being socially calibrated and knowing what will hit and what won't.
Being funny imo is more than anything learning how to be "cool".

Because once you develop the character of "cool" and embody it as a person and an individual, you'll notice people laughin at things that you didnt even intend to be funny about. Again I believe more about developing certain core attributes and having funny develop as a side affect to those attributes.

Cause when I was working on material I could never just push myself through memorizing all the BS jokes that OTHER people made up. Just learn to be cool, you'll notice people will laugh at ANYTHING you say if you can just be cool.
