Default Vol 6 (Aug 2006) Identity (Tenmagnet, Sinn & Future)

Mystery Method Master Series-CD Interview V.6
Master Instructors Tenmagnet, Sinn, and Future on Identity
Identity is not the job you do...it's who you are at the core. You're not your F'n khakis! Your hopes, dreams, ambitions, and future plans are what make up your identity. Who YOU are is more important to girls than your day job. If a girl asks you'"What do you do?" and you give her your resume' -she won't know anything about YOU. This is a question that will always come up, so be prepared. Talking about your boring job will only bore the both of you, so cut that right out. What's most important is that you're passionate about who you've chosen to be in this short life. Fight Club would be a prime example, it's about a guy who realizes that he has no identity and doesn't know what to do about it. His subconscious creates an identity to act out all the things he wants to do but was afraid of attempting for lack of self-confidence. I'm sure you know the story, but anyways, you're different and interested in working towards your goals. I've noticed that MM doesn't try to force the fact that they have some sort of magic pill to fix your love life, they tell you how to improve yourself and create your own magic. This CD is another important piece in your overall framework. It's going to help you display your value in an interesting way and make more intimate connections. The "flash game" has to end at some point and this is where most girls will make up their mind on how well they want to know you. Grounding your identity to theirs is just the icing on the cake. You shouldn't miss this one, especially if you have flake issues or trouble creating rapport.
Not a lot to say about this CD, I'm sure most guys know how important the concept of identity is, as well as the knowing proper grounding. I got a huge amount of info out of this one and the conversation flowed smoothly, making it all simple and easy to listen to. It would have been great if it were even longer, but then again, I just can never get enough of this stuff, so maybe that's just me. For good measure, there's a couple of accomplishment intro's towards the end and it's nice to hear how that is done properly.

Mystery Method Master Series-CD Interview V.6
Master Instructors Tenmagnet, Sinn, and Future on Identity
I came late into the series so I was pretty interested how my first listen would be. I have nothing to compare it too, but the audio quality of the CD could have been better, but its the content that matters, right?
The CD talked about how a strong identity brings her into your world, and she as a result will want to become a part of it. Also, that what you do for a job has nothing to do with what is deep in your core and who you are as a person. All and all, I would give it 8/10. Audio could have been better and more examples of how to convey a strong identity would have been better. Cant wait to get more

Volume number and title: Volume 6 - Tenmagnet, Sinn, & Future on Identity
Date of release: August 2006
Pros: This volume was recorded at the Chicago Special Bootcamp, one week before I attended Tenmagnet's Mystery Method Comprehensive Bootcamp. From my bootcamp, I learned that Tenmagnet was a young guy but had an extremely strong identity. Listening to this CD, all three instructors have solid identities and are young. This is important to me as I realized that youth is not a limiting factor for achieving exactly what you want to do with your life, or at least have the ambition crafted and strived for so that it may be realistically attained within a period of a few years. Here, the instructors emphasized why identity is central not only to Mystery Method, but also to life, and they talk about multiple ways to build and convey your identity as well as to ground it to a woman's reality in a step-by-step fashion (your personal grounding routine used in Comfort).
Cons: Here's another CD where the instructors are having such a blast discussing the topics that they trip over each other and this makes it rather annoying to pay attention to any given instructor. Sometimes, I found that thoughts and sentences were left unfinished as a result of this.
Rating out of 10: 9/10 for presentation and organization. Strong topics discussed theoretically as well as tactically, aside from a few jokes that deter from the topics. 10/10 for content. Another Mystery Method CD related to inner game which is extremely important to me as I've been working extensively on outer game too much lately and ignoring who I should be conveying in set. 10/10 for production quality. No weird scraping sounds, no microphonic feedback, and no background noise like some of the other CDs makes it easy enough to listen to the instructors (aside from when they interrupt each other on occasion).

(This is a crosspost from my blog)

We are what we repeatedly do - Aristotle

Lately I've been going on the inner game path and wanted to find out what foundations I needed. I stumbled on the idea of identity when I saw the Pickup Artist show and BradP's 30/30 program where they both started with the idea of identity. It totally slipped my process of becoming a more attractive man because when I started out 6 months ago I went straight away with approaching and memorizing routines. I started peacocking and dressing better, but for some reason the girls never knew exactly who I was. As of late this changed because I started grounding myself better. Unfortunately there isn't much information out in the community on identity and grounding, so this CD was a bless.

I can advise everyone to take notes of these interview series CDs because you will pickup a lot more valuable information than listening 10x to it (like I used to do).

Out of this CD I really got what an identity is and foremost why it is important to have a strong identity. Your identity is not necessarily your job/occupation, this is something I thought it was. It's something far more than that and they go over how to display your identity. It can be done through stories, props, clothing, and social circle.

In almost every set, when you've attracted the girl, she will start to ask "what do you do?" The bad thing is to straight away answer with your job, because it doesn't tell the girl anything who YOU really are. Also, if you have an unattractive identity you can frame it in way that it seems attractive without lying (imho you should never have to lie in set).

Another important aspect of identity is attracting the girl with your fashion. I didn't know that your identity displayed through your fashion can actually be used as a false disqualifier. Congruence is very important and that is the reason we cannot all peacock like Mystery because it has to match your identity. If you're a finance freak then you shouldn't peacock with painted nails, you get the idea. BradP, not on this CD, also has some good stuff on this with sexual stereotyping your identity.

How do you construct a grounding routine? There is very little information on this but you can find some pointers on this CD. This one of the most important parts of your game, grounding. If you can't do it, then the girl will never know who you are and she won't be able to brag/tell her friend who you are.

The advice Sinn, Future, and Tenmagnet give really apply to life and they should make you a better person. Thus a more attractive man that women want to be around with.

After listening to this CD and taking notes, I had some epiphanies and made me realize a lot of stuff. It's that good. "Live your life"
