Richmond Virginia Venues There are two things ALL bars in Richmond have in common. Way too many men, and overly loud. Keep this in mind with all venues here. Sticky Rice (Main Street)
Loud, crowded and small. You can barely hear yourself talk, and it a terrible place to sarge or meet new people. Half Priced sushi on Monday nights after 10pm though Starlight & Three monkeys (Main Street)
These restaurant/ Bars are basically identical to each other in layout and ambiance. Single strip all the way in. Loud music, but you can talk if you project well, a small covered outdoor area, and generally full, but not packed on a Friday or saturday night Avalon (Main Street)
Nice layout for a restuarant bar. as you walk in there is an L shaped bar with two adjecent seating spaces. One of the queiter bars in Richmond with a nice ambiance. Good place to sarge overall as you're not packed in and can generally be heard if you project well. Helen's (Main Street)
No one's ever in there. Pass. Borders (Main Street)
No one's ever in there. Pass. Mulligans (Main street)
Great layout and cool bar area with no ambiance. Generally crappy Kareoke on Friday nights and a sports bar otherwise. Baja Bean (Main street)
Awesome venue (for richmond). Pool tables, outside area both covered and uncovered. Near campus and frat row so you get a lot of the college crowd. Main Street Martini Bar (Main street)
Lounge. They have bands and get pretty loud, but otherwise a good crowd nd noise level. They have couches sunk into the floor near the windows and a bar area on the other side. They target an upscale clientelle. Collared shirts only. Easy Street (Main Street)
Dumpy little place, with an outside area. As packed as it gets I've never seen this place to have any women of worth. Kinda Fratish. |
