I like how the poster gave us the option to tick all four boxes...

It might be a different story altogether here, but I've never seen a man in Britain wearing an Affliction t-shirt. Never mind a 'douchebag'.

Anyone who would pay $74 for a t-shirt is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

    Christ not again.

Is this going to turn into "Affliction hating" thread again? Count me in!

I was thinking about something related to this yesterday. My thoughts are below.

Most guys (AFC's and/or not fashion savvy) are concerned with dressing for comfort, function, and in a manner that won't attract negative attention from other guys, and might even be stuff that other guys like. Looking at what other guys are wearing, and picking similar clothes fits in here.

Some guys dress based on what they think girls will like. Not nearly as many as the first type, and in doing so probably subject themselves to scrutiny and peer pressure if it's yielding results, which if they don't have anything other than dress going for them, it probably isn't.

Alpha males and PUAs are probably dressing to please themselves first, and as a by product they are probably projecting confidence, and not just following the cookie cutter, copy cat approach of adopting the look of other guys. Some individualism or peacocking may demonstrate not really caring what other folks think, or simply dressing nicer than other most other folks can make you stand out from the crowd.

A lot of my black friends say "you know how you know that an underground black rapper goes pop? ........ when white people start listening to his flows"

As racist as it is, it's true.

When a group of alpha males, for the first time, found Affliction shirt in a store, shortly after its release; they must have said "Jeez dude this shirt is cool, i ma buy it and wear it. Nobody else has it!"

then other two category of guys saw alphas wearing those shirts and start copy-catting them.

Guess what? Most of my natural friends don't even touch that shit anymore, why? Because it's not unique.

I have affliction shirts... theyre gathering dust in my closet.. I dont even think about wearing them out.. THE CLUB IS LITTERED WITH GUYS wearing affliction!!! Pisses me off, but gives me something to criticize and make fun of to the girls i end up fucking.

"Hey, girls get mad when another girl is wearing the same thing right?"

    Yeah?

"i wonder why guys dont seem to bother... maybe its the lack of confidence to stand out."

Just cuz everyone's wearing it, doesn't mean it don't look good! I love Affliction shirts, especially the ones with little wings on the back. So cute!! <3

I like 'em too. Of course the guys around here don't take pride in anything that they wear (all bland, boring, plain, hick)... would be different story 2 hours away from here up in Seattle or Bellevue I'm sure.

It's rare to find girls that dress like me... just because they've heard of Sinful doesn't mean they own it... I get compliments all the time on my "angel wing" jeans and flashy tees... Girls are always asking where I shop, etc., and some have heard of it and some haven't... I suppose if everyone started dressing like me then I might build some resentment and move onto something else... as of yet, that hasn't happened in the women's line... yet???!!!
