I would suggest looking for a cologne that fits your personality type, one that you like the smell of, and bring a girl or two along with your when your shopping for cologne . I've even used it as an opener ,holding two bottles in my hand standing looking at a few others and Hb's when they walk by.

Different women prefer different smells, so one may smell better to one girl then the next.

one of my favorites is the Victoria Secret Very Sexy 2... the one in the blue bottle. I get quite a few compliments on it. And you get to go into the Victoria Secret store and talk to all the cute girls...

cologne can be a very tricky thing. there isnt a one size fits all type of deal with them. everyone's body chemistry is different so one cologne could smell quite different than it would with the next guy. one cologne might last longer on me than it would on someone else. find someone that has studied body chemistry and colognes and allow him to advise you. i used to have a great guy when i lived in florida and would buy several colognes from him each time i saw him. I almost always would take his advice for several reasons. the first is because i would always get complimented on how i smelled. the seceond is because we would find the right colognes that would last all day rather than wearing away after a couple hours. Finally, he would show me some of the popular ones but for every popular cologne he would show me several scents that no one really knew aobut. i have yet to find someone as knowledgable about this topic as him since i moved to the NE but i would recommend everyone to find someone like him also.

diesel white for men works good. It can be too strong so use it sparingly.

Everyone should have a dark musky cologne. Something my dad would wear. Everyone should have a summer cologne. These are light and citrus-y. Lacoste makes a good one, i forget whats it called. And everyone should have some sort of everyday smell when your not wearing cologne. Something that should only be smelt when your close. Like a bodywash/deodorant combo.

I used to wear this and you're right--it smells awesome.

I wear Chanel Pour Monsieur now, and it gets a lot of compliments.

You can use something I call 'scent programming', by the way. I'm pretty sure I invented it. Smell is the only emotion that doesn't go through the hypothalamus. In other words, it can evoke emotions without people consciously thinking about it. Memory, too, is tied very strong to smells. Considering evolutionary biology, this would provide early mammals with a strong sense of 'when to get the fuck out', before they were eaten by the tiger in the bushes.

Anyway, the idea is simple: have two colognes. Wear your very best cologne when you're meeting women and for the first few dates when you're being all cute and seductive. Later, during the relationship, switch to the other one. Now, when your girl is all pissy at you (it happens), switch back to the first cologne.

This instantly invokes emotions and memories of when you were first together, and their state changes back a few months/weeks/years. I was in an LTR for about 1.5 years with a beautiful and intelligent girl, and when I really wanted the sex to be phenomenal... I'd just put on that first cologne. She'd always go: "Awwww, you smell like our first date!"

That's a great idea. But not to burst your bubble, you didn't invent it. I read about it in Men's Health over a year ago.

I usually use a mix of CHROME by AZZARO and AQUA by BULGARI.. works fuckin amazing. also you can put some CHE by CHEVIGNON in the mix if your bold lol. but i Usually stick to the first 2..

another that works SO AMAZING. is if you use a girls perfume called GOLD by GUESS... Chicks go fuckin NUTS for that stuff and it opens alot of doors for openers and threads etc talking about perfume to calogne.

I happen to use pheromones and I do notice a lot more attention from women when I wear them.

    Hey.

I must admit already, that I only read the first page, so I'm sorry if this cologne already have been mentioned.

    Anyway,

I find Paris Hilton - For Men, very elegant and sexy. It smells like man, without smelling like diesel oil or something.
    I know it's made by Paris Hilton, and it's kinda wierd as a male to wear one of her products, but the girls in the club won't know (;

That was just my 2 cent. I'm sorry if it's already been mentioned.
