You look alot better, but as Sub. mentioned size down.

Buy your shirts at the size where you can just barely button the collar.

I was surprised to find out what size shirts I wear now compared to when I first started buying dress shirts and had a salesperson measure my collar. They provided shirts 1/2"-1" too big, depending on the cut.

I prefer a tight collar so that the tie tightens up nicely, some people would prefer a slightly looser collar.

Since you arent wearing ties I wouldnt worry about that, but I would consider a button down collar.

Ditch the vest, argyle comes in and out of fashion but overall I hate the look of sweater vests. Rather then that consider buying a blazer.

Slimmer on the pants, try levis 514's.

    When your finished....add wayfarers

I also wanted to mention it may not be the size as much as the cut which is a problem. For the size, be sure the shoulders end at your natural shoulders. Collar size is more important for dress shirts where you are fully doing up the collar.

I can't say for sure, but since you're 6'1 like me, I doubt the sleeves would be that long (RE: Too long) on you if the shoulder ended where it should. The sleeve should be going 1/4" to 1/2" past the hinge of your wrist (where your blazer/suitjacket sleeve would end) to show that much cuff. Yours are falling onto your hand and then stopping because they can't fall and further.

This said, I am not sure how the actual shirt is cut...it is possible that something that fits you in the collar/shoulder could be a tent elsewhere. Pay attention to high armholes, a slim waistline, etc..

And +1 to HRH on the jeans. You may not have to go *that* slim, but that is 1000x than the baggy ones you have on now.

Okay, I'm shrinking everything I own lol...So here's my next area of work, I want to get new shoes and am thinking rockports Rockport - Men: Rockport Seeger Boat Shoe Mens for my nicer shoes and some chuck taylors for my kick arounds.

Also looking into watches...I'm thinking of a Citizen ecodrive with a yellow face if I can find one...If not I'll just go with something classy from Citizen I love their watches. In the mean time I will be sporting a red faced timex.

I like the shoes. If wearing them with jeans you may want to consider getting them in brown if available, but the black ones are quite nice too. And I love chucks for casual shoes.

Ah, well, I'm going with brown chucks, just so I have something to use with my brown belts.

buy stuff in the right size and cut. I find sweaters are a paint in the ass cause the usually come in sm, m, Lrg, etc. which there is issues on length of the arms, shoulders, fit. tailoring goes a long way once you have the proper fit. If you have a muscular build, slim fit shirts workout quite well man.

Little bit of an update here. Now I'm rocking Levis 514s, gap shirts, converse, boat shoes, and some Rayban Wayfer style glasses that I picked up for $5 from big lots...will get some real Raybans later. Plan on getting the citizen ecodrive watch, and looking into getting a custom silicone subaru wristband.
