    Chest Hair

I got chest hair, it isn't a ton, but it makes me self concesious when I wear a shirt with buttons, I always wear a white shirt underneath, which I know is bad, but I hate the hair sticking out. I have done noir, and waxing, and the waxing isn't bad but friggin painful and I need to get it done 4 months later. Anyone done laser surgery? How is it? Costs associated, any info you guys can give me. Also is it a big deal if you are hairy, I wouldn't even say I am hairy, more like middle hairy in comparison to other guys.

  2. Hey, sorry for jacking your topic, but who's Rico Suave? Some girls from my school nicknamed me that. Weird...

Well in spanish it means Rich and smooth, I chose it because my real nickname was Rico, but that was already taken. Also there was a song by this guy name Gerarldo I think is the name who just sang Rico Suave over and over, it is a pretty bad song, but kinda funny especially if you see the music video.

Yeah, Rico Suave is supposed to be the biggest ladies-man in spanish culture.

My ex-trainer had it done. He said it was more painful than a tattoo and VERY expensive.

Well I have done waxing and that is pretty friggin painful, never got a tatoo though. It might be painful but at least it is permanate, I guess I would need to know how painful it is in comparison to waxing do me a favor and ask him or her if they have ever been waxed before.

I have a hairy chest and i used to be self conscious about it, especially considering the trend now is for smooth bodies. However, i noticed my italian friend, hes a natural, go out with his huge rug on display and he still got women. The more women i've hooked up with the more i've come to realise it didnt matter. If you want to tone it down a bit try getting some clippers or like a beard trimmer and just cut it back so its less 'jungley'. The key to trimming body hair however is to make sure it looks 'natural'. Hope this helps.

I have had laser hair removal, here's a few things to consider:
    1) It's one of the most painful experiences I've ever had, they burn you (in my case my back) with a thin laser, line by line, you end up with welts looking like you've just been whipped 100 times. It is WAY more painful than waxing, this I can guarantee.
    2) It's not 100% permanent, gone, finished, you have plenty of dormant hairs that will grow in later after you've done the treatment. Most places say that it will cause a permanent REDUCTION in your hair, not 100% removal.
    3) For my back it took a total of 5 treatments which is the low end, and it cost me about $4500.
    4) It won't work if you are dark skinned, or if your body hair is too light in color - the laser destroys the hair (and not your skin supposedly) based on the fact that the pigment in your hair is significantly darker than your skin color, and the setting on the laser permits it to "safely" burn the hair and follicle and not your skin. In fact, during the year of treatment I was not allowed to take my shirt off at the beach or get a tan.
All that being said, I'm glad I had it done, I'm 31 and have had hair on my chest since I was 12-13. However, when I hit my mid 20's, I started noticing hair on my back, and that to me is unacceptable. However, I'm more than happy with the hair on my chest, and it has never been a factor in my ability to get a girl so I guess it comes down to personal preference.

I also have a good amount of chest hair, I dont see anything wrong with it, its what god gave you!, REP IT HARD!.
    Besides, appearance isnt everything.
I shaved mine a few times... BIG MISTAKE, it hurts like hell.. feels like a F-ing cactus for about a week.. and anytime you sweat, it burns like fire.
Pimp the hair, some chicks digg it.
