Anyone here ever run a marathon? I'm training for Grandma's in June. The training schedule is intense. 3 mile runs most days of the week. With a Sunday run anywhere from 10-30 miles. That's the schedule. I simply cannot run a marathon without that much commitment.

What if I don't have the time? I've got a job. A son. School. etc.

If you can't handle the schedule, you need a different goal. You can't run the PUA marathon if you can't put in the time. As humans, we naturally become proficient in what we do. I answer emails 8 hours a day. And I'm damn good at it. Compare this to my natural buddy. He sells clothes to girls at a retail shop 8 hours a day.

Wanna guess who's better with girls? Its the guy who puts in the time.

OK Cedar. I don't have the time to run a PUA marathon. All I got is one night a week. What CAN I do. The PUA 5K.

First, don't limit yourself to night time soirees. I say hi to a lot of new people during the day. I'm not looking for dates. I'm looking to keep myself social.

Second, what's a PUA 5K? If a Marathon is a Sinn/Savoy lifestyle. The 5K is your ability to talk to beautiful girls, and get a number. Some of those will pan out. Lot of them won't. You'll never be a master if you can't put in the time.

So stop trying to be a master. Get social. Meet new people CONSTANTLY. Keep your interactions short. But keep them coming. And if you can't afford to be hitting the clubs, consider WORKING at the clubs. A bar back job for a few months is a GOLDEN oppurtunity.

Hope that helps those of you who can't put in the time for a marathon.

Im considering going to the mall today and running an alternative to the newbie mission where I use the corniest pickup lines on random girls. Good plan yay or nay?

I never quite saw the point to this. Getting rejected when you expect it ad getting rejected when you are legitimately trying are completely different emotions in my book. This just seems lime a bit of a waste. Put forth the time and effort to getting good and take the licks like an alpha male and get over it. Why sugar coat rejection? Get used to it because you will likely get a lot of it starting out.

What would be a good rule of thumb for making up days? I was going strong for two weeks and a half and then was out for a week because of the flu.
