A simple "Neck cracker" is a plain plastic cup. The kind you might drink beer from at a party. Put it under your arm pit. Then just crush the cup with your arm at the right moment. Some cups are louder then others so test them out first.

I know I haven't added a trick to this list in a while. I've been busy putting together a trick I just released. Now that that's done I have a little more time to devote to this project.

As a magician I'm sure you can imagine how often I get into conversations about magicians that are currently on TV. I'm getting sick of people asking me to levitate.. LOL Anyway lately the talk has been about that TV show Phenomenon. One particular trick people are talking about is the Stopping your pulse that was recently performed on that show. Now, don't jump through their hoops but I'll tell you how to do it for when it does fit a situation. For example maybe you are talking to a nurse.

Stopping your pulse is a very, very old trick. I can't even fathom how old it might be. I'm pretty sure it was performed in ancient times.

Here's how to do it. You simply put something under your arm pit. Something hard and about the size of a gold ball. Under your arm pit there's one major artery that feeds you arm. by squeezing a small hard object there it blocks that artery thus stopping your pulse in your wrist.

I've used objects such as salt shakers to do this. If you're a muscular guy it's possible to do it with no object. You squeeze that artery with your chest muscle. Not many will be able to use this though.

4 chairs and 4 HB's

I was just about to write how to do a trick I used last night on 4 girls. But I took a shot in the dark and searched for a video of it. It took a while but I finally found one. The video is pretty much self explanatory.

I did this last night to 4 girls and they just couldn't stop laughing. A crowd gathered around and I was set for the entire night. After I did this the entire bar was watching me so I could go up and talk to anyone I wanted to. Talk about an opener.

The vanishing hole (Only works in North America)

Write the word "hole" on a piece of paper or napkin. Tell them you're going to make the hole disappear. Then you add 4 lines to the word hole to form the word "kotex" (Tampons are made of this).

Observe the words:
hole
kotex

Just add a line to the "h" that turns it into a "k". Cross the "l" so it forms the "T" and add an "x" at the end.

In the USA this gets a lot of giggles but I found that the word "kotex" isn't as widely used in other country's such as the UK.

I'm thinking that maybe if i would to Erase it, it would funny. hahah I can see myself doing right now...

Swish36 - Actually that might seem like the funny thing to do but it usually isn't because that's what they might expect you're going to to. I've written the word down (hole) and told them I was going to make it disappear and they've said things like, "He's going to throw it away or erase it". So erasing it is the expected. Turning it into the word "Kotex" isn't what they'd expect. Unexpected usually makes things funny.

Tarot Cards

I just got myself a set of Tarot Cards I thought I could learn how to use them the way fortune tellers use them, but it seems to require some sort of memorization of learning what each card means. I think the Celtic Cross seems impressive when it is all laid out. Do you have any suggestions on what to do with these cards?
