So how old are you?

I have been getting this because I am targeting venues that will have the most amount of women. Typically clubs or cool lounges. Oh and the occasional party in the area. Now I am typically in a set at the time and will be escalating at the time. And boom, and the question pops out. "How old are you?" And I have used the response "How old do I look?". And the cool/bad thing is that I have gotten between 26-28yrs old. I am 36. I need some guidance on recovery because after they are persistent, I tell them the truth or avoid and then I get ejected. Thanks for any insight on how to handle this.

i had this happen to me recently, but i had a bit of an edge, the girl i was talking to had her twin sister, which i work with, right there to put my target back to earth...

one thing to do, if they get persistent, shotgun neg her in front of her friends, be-friend the target's friend and agree with him on certain things, she'll stop almost immediately, and start another thread.
